My name is Valerie Berg and I am an animal welfare advocate with a bachelor’s degree in English/Professional Writing. After spending several years working in animal shelters and kennel environments, I have suffered the usual burnout — mental, emotional, and physical.
So while I sit here at home searching for a paid writing job, I am going to fulfill my passions with this free blog. Free to me, and free to you, but hopefully providing something worthwhile for us both.
I think the $50,000.00 would have been better spent on shelter programs, education for pit bull owners/adopters/public. Spay/neuter programs and rescues. Puleeeeese!
Great Post Val. I am actually without words for even the concept of cloning my dog no matter how much I love them. Each dog in my life is a special being, special for who they are, not because they are replacing another one. I just don’t get it..not one little bit!!
